How has art been an outlet for you, careerwise?

“Art has been an outlet for me by letting me express the way I think and process things in my mind [and] on a piece of paper... I’ve actually used my passion in a career before. I sold it to one of my friends.”

Describe your process when creating your workpieces and what you try to express

“I try to express creativity and… show my thought process whenever I draw. It's not a lengthy process. There's not that much planning. It's just a brain dump onto paper, like notes. It's the same process I have for junk, so I just brainstorm, think of everything, get it down, and then just summarize it into one big piece.”

Who influences you to create art?

“I get inspired by the things around me, like if I see a cool building or… a cool picture or something like that. My artistic influence is probably my father ‘cause growing up, he always used to make drawings. They used to be bad, though. But I kind of just redrew them every single time I saw him draw something, and then I just built off of what I drew.”

How would you characterize your relationship with the work you create?

“I can’t characterize the relationship between me and my art because my style’s more of a demonic style, and I don't dress demonic or act demonically. I’m an upbeat person, so I’d just say we’re complete opposites.”
