After quarantine, I realized I wanted to be more proactive in making what I want to make, so I pursued more ambitious projects and tackled subjects I thought were out of my league. My pieces are more ambitious and display atmospheric environments. I also really enjoy the concept of personifying places, maybe from being stuck inside for so long. This piece is a not so subtle metaphor connecting a forest made of birch trees and poppy fields with the body.
