I'm very thankful for my opportunity of being able to be in Seeds. It's been one of my dreams ever since I came into this school.  And it's just really a crazy reality for me to be here.

What inspired you to join Seeds?

I've always admired Seeds as an archive of art.  From everything like the visual art pieces to the poetry, to even the magazine's designs. So many pieces have inspired me as an artist, and I really don't think I would be the same writer, artist, or person without all the Seeds magazine has taught me.

What's your favorite part about Seeds?

My favorite part about Seeds is my section of design.  I've always loved them [the designs in the issues] even before I joined. And now, knowing I'm contributing to it myself means so much to me.

How has Seeds assisted you on your creative journey?

Seeds has inspired me in so many ways. Anytime I need inspiration for my own work, the first thing I do is look at past issues of Seeds. The work of my classmates, peers, and alumni really pushes me to keep writing so I can try to reach the same level of artistry as them.

What are some goals you have during your time on Seeds?

A goal I have is to improve on design personally.  I've always had a passion for design and now that I've gotten the opportunity to do it, it truly feels like a blessing. I'm really thankful to be in my position and I'm really looking forward to becoming a better designer.
