OCTOBER STAFFER OF THE MONTH
Emily Bailly
Why did you decide to join seeds?
I decided to join Seeds because I wanted to be on a publication, so I could get closer to other communications majors. I switched in as a junior ‘cause I felt that film wasn’t really for me, and I’m more into collaborative work, so Seeds sounded like something I would enjoy way more.
What do you like most about website so far?
What I like the most about website so far is definitely my team members. They make it really fun, and being able to work together to design pages and come up with new ideas has definitely been my favorite part of Seeds so far.
What do you enjoy most about being in Seeds?
I think what I enjoy the most about being Seeds is being able to work with my friends on something I love. It’s truly a community, everyone works hard to contribute to a bigger picture, which ends up being so fulfilling when it finally comes to fruition.
What are some goals you want to accomplish in Seeds?
My main goal that I want to accomplish in Seeds is to improve the website. I think that there’s a lot more we can still add in both visual and interactive aspects. I also hope to just increase Seeds’ publicity as a whole. I think Seeds tends to be underappreciated for all that it is, so I hope this year we can all work hard to get it out there.
What about communication arts interests you? How does that translate into Seeds?
I think what makes communications arts so special is that there are so many different types of art that come from it. And I love that in Seeds I get to work towards displaying wide varieties of original works and stuff.
