Domestic Trinity

you smell like sun-kissed dried tomatoes,

the acidity plays on my tongue melting tastebuds into worship.

i feel you when the sky is bearing witness to the sun's dying flames,

a blanket of warmth filling my grievous skin.

life kisses the gardens you breathe, making you blush with love,

as your hands cradle the tears of somber clouds.

your lips burn with the deep mahogany, your forest casting shadows onto me.

the oceans wish to serve you, testing the bounds of your grace.

wind moves the softness of your voice to those who can not hear,

filling them with blessed fruit to stop their hunger for acceptance.

we who praise you rest in the curve of your lashes,

as we only wish to be favored in your eyes.

Domestic Trinity pt. 2

As you walk, earth's leaves shake with devotion

because i made them in your image.

When the sun shines through them, it casts the colors of your iris.

Light gleams on the surface of meadows sprinkled with your tears.

Every bead of water settles within the dirt, reminding those who are forgotten

that they are not.

I like exploring the elements of what make the earth beautiful and applying them to women/the idea of the god/goddess.
