Through the past year, I've learned to appreciate memories and items in my life and understand the value of them. This piece was a study of traditional Slovak glassware, to better appreciate the love and craftsmanship put into these significant pieces from my culture. Thoughtfully examining the objects tied to my culture, and the memories I've formed around them, helped me to be appreciative of them and realize their importance as pieces of art and gifts of love.
