“I wanted to repurpose old poems I wrote, so I turned them into this painting. There is a dull knife and an old scalpel; both inefficient and wasteful. I'm holding out pennies, one in my mouth like a coin bank, just for the user to waste them. The common thread between the two is they both squander.”
